Ferone L. Gibson

Ferone LeVar Gibson, age 46yrs old, after a brief illness passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026 in Temple Hills, Maryland 20748. Ferone was Born on November 28, 1979 to Frederick H.T. Michaels, Jr. and Yolanda Gibson-Michaels. Ferone grew up with a curious spirit and a generous heart and a love for everyone. Ferone was born and raised in Temple Hills, Maryland. Ferone was well loved and fond of his Grandma Elizabeth B. Gibson in which he transitioned lying next to his Grandma. Ferone was also very fond of his Aunt Tweedy. Who became is sole care provider. He loved his Aunt Tweedy and looked forward to seeing her each day. He was especially very fond of his First Cousins Nathan Postell, IV and Michael C. Postell whom he had a very close relationship and also they grew up together. Ferone also was very close and fond of his Cousin, James L. Martin aka "Jimmy" Ferone was very excited when he and Jimmy saw the preview of the movie entitled the Odyssey (2026) Ferone was well loved and prayed over by his Cousins Gloria Diane Ford, Kenneth W. Ford and Kenneth W. Ford, Jr., and David & Joyce Gibson, and the River of Life Church family. Ferone enjoyed 4th of July gatherings with his cousins during the celebration of his Brother Andre's 4th of July Birthday. Cousin Diane religiously prayed for Ferone Day and Night for his healing and that it was GODs will over Ferone's life. He loved all his Cousins near and distant. Ferone had a fondness for of all the family pets; After graduating from Frederick Douglas High School year 1998. Ferone immediately joined the U.S. Army and patriotically served his Country with Honor. At an early age, Ferone love art. He always drew pictures and graphics. He received a full Scholarship at the Corcoran School of Arts at age 14yrs old. During his youth Ferone worked alongside his Granddad Charles E. Gibson doing yard work. Ferone also had a great love of video games and gaming. Ferone accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was Baptized at Allen A.M.E. Church as a youth under the late Reverend Leon Lipscome and later Baptized as an adult at the River of Life Church under Pastor Charles Whitaker. Ferone was very close to his Friends Cedric, Marvin and (Heyward who preceded him death). Ferone referred to all his friends as "Bro" Cedric was always a very close and helpful friend to Ferone. Cedric was always caring and sharing knowledge with Ferone. Cedric was faithfully by Ferone’s bedside throughout his brief illness. They had a strong and Christian bond. Ferone was known for his dedication as being a care provider to his Grandad Gibson, Aunt Denise Michaels and his dad Frederick. Ferone always showed acts of kindness to all who had a pleasure to meet him. Ferone leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving parents Frederick H.T. Michaels, Jr., who preceded him in death, his Mother Yolanda Gibson-Michaels and his Baby Brother Andre whom he loved and adored. His loving grandma Elizabeth B. Gibson (Charles E. Gibson preceded in death), His loving Aunt Sandra L. Gibson, affectionally know as Aunt Tweedy. He will forever remain in our hearts as a beloved son, brother, cousin and friend. Ferone was Dearly Loved by his Family. Ferone will have a private military memorial service with full honors. All Memorial donations may be sent to the National Cancer Institute in Ferone's honor.
